The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Since other solutions other than REXX mentioned - I'll add CEERAN0 (that's a
zero at the end of the name..)
which is bindable in RPGLE.

I've used it in regulatory reporting where you had to use a documented
random generator and pass a sample test with it.

Random generating a 16-digit number: An easy task in Rexx. Or so I
thought. I can not figure out how to return that value to the calling
program. QREXQ seemed the right way but I can not make it happen.
Or is there another way to generate a random number?
I figured there'd be plenty of examples but so far, no luck.
