I've seen things like this in menu systems which dynamically create
SBMJOB commands based on database entries. OVRPRTF and CHGJOB are two

I did finally find one job description in which somebody had
specified this PRTTXT value. It happened to be the job description all
programmers use when logging on to production. When jobs were submitted
form the scheduler they were fine because they weren't running under a
programmer's user profile. It was the jobs I was submitting manually that
were picking this up from my interactive session definition. I have
changed the job description back to *SYSVAL and put out the question to
find out who changed it in the first place. Thanks, all.
