I am looking for a consultant who might be able to assist us in moving a
vendor supplied java application that we have running on a Windows desktop
and move the java library to the IFS and have it run directly on the i
server and get the Windows computer out of the loop. From what we can see
of this java application it uses jt400.jar to connect to DB2 and read a
table/file, convert it to a csv file and then sends it to the vendors
server. I think it talks to the vendors server using a web API to process
the data but can’t be sure of that.
