Buck, it might help if you could post a code sample. I've tried various
iterations of *LAST and *PRV with message key in response to DB constraint
and trigger errors, but only came up with blanks. I was hoping your idea
would work. But I was not successful.
As to your question "is there another way for the system to raise an
exception message?", I don't understand what you mean; I thought we were
talking about "receiving" messages, regardless of what, among any number of
possibilities might raise them.
