Now why in the world would you want to do THAT!?

The likely simple way for one time transfers is to use ACS to create a download in the sequence needed for the MS DB.

If this is not a one time thing then it gets much more complicated. "I know a guy" who writes this stuff which runs on IBM i using Java and C to push and pull date to MSSQL on the fly. It is used primarily when someone decides (in error) that you can't do 'web things' on IBM i so they demand use of an inferior server for that.
