---Does anyone know whether monitoring for SQL0000, SQ20000, and SQ30000 will trap all of the SQLxxxx, SQ2xxxx, and SQ3xxxx errors?

Yes, that is how MONMSG works in CL programs.

--Will SQ*nnnn messages that are really *not* errors be flagged as well?

You shouldn't have to worry about message ids that are "not" errors.

The command only sends failure messages as Escape, which is all you can monitor for with a MONMSG.
A failure message is one with a Negative SQL Code.
