... free solutions, you have three variants with the following diffrences:
- SQL Server linked tables: pull from SQL Server only
- JDBCR4 (Scott): for synchronous data propagation (the trigger variante)
you would need a "server" mechanism (DTAQ or similar), or it woln't scale
well.
- ArdGate: you could use simple embedded SQL in a trigger, it has built in
server mechanism and scales nearly unlimited.
JDBC is supported by Scott, ArdGate is supported by Dieter - both have
numerous installations in production - all over the world-
