Peter,
Latest HTTP group for V7R1 is 45, I have it installed.
SF99368 IBM HTTP SERVER FOR I 45 Installed.
Most recent is SI62007 5761JV1
I had similar issues with IBM Navigator for i on 7.1 when configuring EIM, LDAP, et.
Slow and Sometimes erroneous results.
When it failed, I used OpsNav as a backup.
It always worked, never failed.
IBM is aware of some of the issues, fixes are in the works.
Whenever I have issues, I recycle the ADMIN instance, which is also slow.
I actually recycle the Admin instance as part of our nightly save procedure.
Always have a clean instance running for the next day.
Paul

Hi Vern,
Thanks. What's the latest HTTP group PTF? My customer is currently on group SF99368 for HTTP, and the most recent PTF in that is SI46559.
Is the Access Client Solutions bundle available on 7.1? Is that also web based? Where can I find it?

Hi Peter--
First thing is to see if your HTTP group PTF is up to date - that has
helped some.
As for Run SQL Scripts, it is also available in the new Access Client
Solutions bundle - starts quite quickly.

I'm having my first encounter with the web-based IBM Navigator for i,
on Power 7 hardware (Power 720 Express, 8202-E4D), and I'm fascinated
by how exceedingly slow it is.
I used to consider the IBM System i Navigator client slow, but it is
usable. This web-based thing is waaaay beyond that. How is it
possible that it's that slow? What could it possibly be doing? Two
minutes ago I clicked on "Table Partitions" (under Database -> All
Tasks -> Actions -- I don't even know how long it took to get that
far) and typed this sentence (slowly) and it just now finished. And
all it managed to do is display a dropdown that has nothing in it,
and a text box asking me to select the table for which to show
partitions.
I was looking for Run SQL Scripts, but at this rate it make take
15-20 minutes to find it.
