The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

If you have VMware skills in-house then it’s easy to implement the vHMC. I have multiple customers using it. Hardest thing is getting the network team to give us a dedicate vlan for the private network between the vHMC and POWER system.
The vHMC comes prepackaged as a OVF template, so there’s no HMC code install. Already done for you.

Subject: vhmc (5765-HMV) -- anyone have experiance using this
We are looking to virtualize our iseries. After researching, we like the
idea of vhmc. We contacted our VAR, but they said they cant do it due to
lack of expertise.
Does anyone have experience in implementing this feature? I tried
calling IBM, but they refer us back to VAR.
