I do not think that iNext is going to be announced at COMMON this year, well I know for a fact that it isn't.

Not really. Around it maybe.
Lack of 7.1 shouldn't be a "break through". A little preannouncing of EOS of 7.1 might start the people going to stuff like COMMON to prep for upgrading.
