I'm not sure about the RUNPCCMD you mentioned, maybe it is custom.

ACS is based off of Host on Demand so I found this,
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSS9FA_11.0.0/com.ibm.hod.doc/help/strpccmd.html

but alas it did not work for me.

It must be a ACS problem the IBM i access windows 5250 worked just fine.
Maybe i'll open a PMR for ACS and STRPCCMD

Well, I must of have had a typo or some other anomaly when I tried it before. I even tried it several times without success.

The RUNPCCMD works as expected.

Thanks. :(

I tried using the STRPCCMD approach with no luck. That was my first thought as well.

With ACS being on every PC I was hoping of finding the ACS pgm that gets invoked when using the Hotspot and call it directly.
Of course we can just put together a quick VB pgm that I would call.

I will keep digging and look at Aaron's as well.

Thanks.

I'm having trouble trying, but because work PC is "locked down"

you should be able to
STRPCO (at the beginning of the pgm olt once)

then this could be part of your "option G"

STRPCCMD ('http://your.web.page.com')
-or-
STRPCCMD PCCMD('rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler
http://your.web.page.com')

it should work. if not Maybe you can use what Aaron wrote:

Hi All,

I am using a current version of ACS (Nov, 2016).

On a screen with Hotspots enabled, I display a line with the customer website and another line with the formatted Google Maps coordinates. Both are displayed as 3D.
The coordinate line gets clicked on maybe 2% of the time. The Website maybe 70% of the time.

I would like to remove the coordinates line from the screen hiding the Lat/Long. When the user enters G as an option on the line I want to call the Hotspot ACS giving it the formatted line.

Is this even possible to call the ACS function directly?
