I do this extensively with all our spool files and PDF's from the network.
Saving the docs to the IFS is the easy part.
When I started here there were over 200,000 spool files on the system. "Just in case"
All those were saved as PDF's using a package I got for emailing.
For printing I use a homegrown VB pgm.
What are you trying to accomplish?
