Re: ACS LAN console

Back when I had that stuff it did. Yeah, I know, you're scratching your
head and wondering how a Lan console can connect when comm is down and
you're in a restricted state and all that but you'll figure it out. You're
a pretty smart cookie.

I'm sure I know the answer to this but . . .

When I reboot to apply PTFs, I assume this control panel and console will
reconnect automatically like the old Ops Con?

I think I'd rather know that _before_ the next time I IPL.

Perhaps there is some method to configure ACS to use a 24x80 screen if

it

feels safer to you to have both.
And some might question whether or not you really need 27x132 on your
system console.
However, there are some times that I really missed it when running in
restricted state and looking at certain files and whatnot. I was so
grateful when I no longer had that restriction.
