Yes. You set up EIM mappings mapping the IBM i user to the AD user name.
It's a pain for large shops but there are methods to automate it.

I suggest you:
a) Call IBM lab services and get them to quote help for you (they have tools
to do the mapping for you)
b) Call Pat Botz (Botz and associates) he can do it for you as well.
