RUNSQL may, or may not, be an IBM command. It was added to current
versions of the OS by IBM. Older versions had the one you are talking
about. I had that one too. It originated from a magazine article and
everyone added it to their own system. I renamed that to exesql to not
conflict with the IBM one.

In the older one you occasionally had an issue where sometimes you had to
add a space where it wasn't really obvious. It was a bit buggy
concatenating statements together so where you thought you had a space you
had to add two.
