RE: merging 2 .csv files

to look at environment settings, use WRKENVVAR

it seems that one CRLF is missing... well the last CRLF is not at the end
of the last line of a text file... and CAT command will not add it ...

so you need to add it manually... you could create a dummy file
(crlf.txt) with only 1 CRLF in it.
then you can cat 3 files (file1.txt + crlf.txt + file2.txt) > newfile.txt

and you should get something useable.
