Yes, since day one we haven't even offered the ability to bypass the SSL
Handshake errors. Should have asked then. :)

I am thinking about adding the option to bypass in, though.

I don't quite follow this. I thought you said you used HTTP_API because it
could bypass the Handshake errors.

How did the partner validate the chain?
