As always, check out the appropriate Memo to users documents. On your case,
check the docs corresponding to 7.2 and 7.3.

Also, check out IBM's Developers works site, in particular the
modifications introduced in the different TRs (Technology Refreshes)
applicable to your OS level.

We have been used IBM i7.1(V7R1) , and we have a plan to upgrade into V7R3
on new machine(Power8) next year.

We tested our batch program which is written SQLCBL on V7R3 as pre-test.

But it was failed because of the reason as follows.

NO.1

One cobol program ran over 8hours.(It have been run on V7R1 within
20minute every day.)
