At least stars are in your eyes Buck. :)

Consistency is the main goal here. Rather than multiple developers all
using different conventions and techniques, the goal would be to have
everyone using the same methods. A goal would be to have a developer be
able to look at another developer's product without having to 'learn' their
technique. It's not much of a goal, but it's (I think) a critical first
step for more advancement.

What are some of the goals you've established and achieved,,,or not?

Well, yes. :) There's a gradual move to ILE, but there is still a fair
amount of monolith development. I would want to lean more towards ILE

that's more involved. I think a standard that focused on ILE could be
used
for OPM also, especially in terms of naming conventions and such.
Promotion
could be similar too, just not as intricate with as many moving parts.
Anything would be appreciated.

I've been the primary author of at least 4 shop standards over thirty
odd years. I have wicked strong opinions which have been burnt into my
soul (ad astra per aspera). Rather than make my usual noise, I'd like
to take a moment to try to focus your thoughts for a minute.

What do you want to accomplish?

That is, it's ten years down the road. Your goals have been fully met.
What were those goals? What do you want your code base to be like? How
much closer will Hungarian vs Java naming conventions (for example) get
you there?
