I've been the primary author of at least 4 shop standards over thirty
odd years. I have wicked strong opinions which have been burnt into my
soul (ad astra per aspera). Rather than make my usual noise, I'd like
to take a moment to try to focus your thoughts for a minute.
What do you want to accomplish?
That is, it's ten years down the road. Your goals have been fully met.
What were those goals? What do you want your code base to be like? How
much closer will Hungarian vs Java naming conventions (for example) get
you there?
