I will upgrade a Dev partition, not production, but it's one the same hardware as the Mimix partitions.
Any problem running 71 and 73 on same hardware?

THAT could be a problem. Special consideration needed when upgrading machines that are mirrored not matter WHAT the software used for that i!! With Mimix I believe it is possible to do this. With PowerHA for example it is not.
