As a job submitted from a CL into a batch subsystem. They sit on an
"incoming data queue" waiting for a request to transmit to an external
target, then when the external response (transaction) arrives, return that
in an "outgoing data queue." An RPG job feeds the Java the requests, and
another RPG receives the responses. This way, the transactions are merely
delivered by the Java and not formatted in it. We prefer RPG for that.
