That's a easy way of looking at it. But it's not really even close to
correct as I understand it.

Nathan is not saying they ARE somehow implemented as two partitions
with a single hypervisor. He is saying they FEEL about the same as two
partitions with a single hypervisor. (And notice the wiggle room for
"about the same".)

To me, the IBM i environment and the PASE environment feel at least as
different as VMS and Unix.
