Hmmm,
The build date for my version of ACS is October 19, 2016
"The reported problem has been corrected and will be available
October 2016. The ESS Distribution ID is LCD8-2010-14.
Version: 1.1.6.1 Build ID: 6431
October 19, 2016"
It still fails.

Subject: Issue with ACS 5250 emulator
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

All,
V6R1 using latest version of ACS.
When I run an SQL statement over a file that has HEX data in some fields,
the SQL statement abends with the following messages:
System failure on device QPADEV0010 with feedback code 00002301.
Function check. CPF5411 unmonitored by QWSGET at statement *N,
instruction X'3478'.

When I run the same SQL statement using IBM iSeries Access for Windows
5250
emulator, i just receive an info message ( Cannot show this data at the
display station) at the bottom of the screen, and the HEX data is shown as
an "* " .
Is this a known condition? If so, is there a fix for it?

TIA
