Well, they blew from 70% to 95% of disk in about an hour today, and it was
all in temp storage. They claim they're building indexes to make stuff run
faster.

V7R1, and the cumulative PTF level is 13037. Need I say more?

?That's not related to Java...the same functionality (and apparent lack of
optimization) in a 5250 app would cause the same spikes.

Assuming they are running newer hardware and have enough memory, Java
should run fine.
