RE: BRMS literate (was SAVE 21 and stay restricted)

CHGIPLA STRRSTD(*YES)

This will cause your next IPL to start up in restricted state. This flag resets itself to *NO after the next IPL.

This works if an IPL is performed and not a STRSBS of the controlling subsystem. For that you can remove the entry for the system value, QSTRUPPGM. Just remember to restore it just before you do the power down.

Are you going to stick with GO SAVE 21?
If so, are you going to say prompt for commands yes and sit there and wait
for each command, or
say prompt for commands no and just bring the system back into restricted
state at the end?
