It appears that Dyn (a MAJOR DNS provider) is currently being hit with DDos attacks. The DNS problems appear to be Internet Wide and may not even be a PTD issue. Dyn is still mitigating the issue. The attack according to their website is affecting mainly Eastern US. Here is the update posted frim them.
