upgrade to Power 8 from V7r1 -- MIDRANGE-L

Need to understand requirements of upgrade from a Power 7+ at V7r1 (TR10 )
to Power 8 hardware.

I see that TR9 is the minimum required for Power 8.

Current cume level is 15142.

Is there any more to it than that?

No hmc (if it matters).

Power 8 ordered with option to restore from prev system.
