Unknown a lot of times means more than 1 disk has failed in a RAID5 set...
So that data is gone. AS you probably know that means the OS is gone. But
it appears you are able to boot to DST so the loadsource and its RAID is
intact. Without the I_BASE CD I would from DST clear the ASP and delete all
the drives from the ASP. I would then init all the unknowns to see what
will or won't init. Fix or remove the bad drives and build your raid sets.

Obtaining the OS CDs it a touching subject. You may or may not have the
legal right to put an OS on the system....

Hi,

Friends and I bought second hand an old unused 9406-820 with fc5074 and a
3488 twinax console.

We can see that two disks are failed and some other are marked as unknown
when we boot in manual mode.

First question : Is it possible to do something to make the unknown disks
working again ? (we think they were part of the raid)

Second question : How could we obtain OS install discs to make this great
machine working again ?

Thank you for your help !
