Thanks Stefan and Rob. I'm using that now to sync passwords on different
systems when one password is changed. I actually need control before the
validation program is called. I need to put up a different screen if it's
the workstation name fits a certain pattern. I don't want the normal CHGPWD
command to be shown - I need my command to be executed so I can put up a
different screen. Then I was thinking I would use the QSYCHGPW API to
change the password.

What's the current best practice for intercepting the CHGPWD command? I
want to run my own program when CHGPWD is executed. I could rename the
existing command in QSYS and substitute my own, I could change the system
library list and add my own library (and command) above QSYS,
or...something else. :) Any advice appreciated.
