Hi,

It's not even for outward facing stuff... users, virusses, ransomware, ... is just getting to creative in infecting/abusing systems (even with up to date antivirus software on the clients sveral companies I know got infected recently).

Hence the two requests for FTP and Netserver to provide extra security by limiting users in predefined areas of the system. I we say IBM i is secure it can't mis features that exist on every other platform for more than 10 years.

Kind regards,
Paul

If you're looking to set up an FTP/sFTP server for something like an
outward facing eCommerce application we have an IBM i FTP/sFTP server
product that lets you create virtual environments with virtual users.
