I had a problem with EDTF equally as dangerous:
http://www-912.ibm.com/n_dir/nas4apar.nsf/ALLAPARS/SE59881
Error Description:
EDTF using generic wildcard (/dir/file*.stmf) brings up an
empty file despite having matching files, and when canceling
via F12, all files matching the pattern are deleted.

Rob,--
Thanks again for all those tips.
Really simplified IFS root cleanup.
One offs that should not have been there in the first place and old
folders no longer used.
9=Recursive Delete works great for the old folders.
One must be very careful.
EDFF * can be very dangerous if someone is not careful.
