Rob,

Thanks again for all those tips.
Really simplified IFS root cleanup.
One offs that should not have been there in the first place and old folders no longer used.
9=Recursive Delete works great for the old folders.
One must be very careful.
EDFF * can be very dangerous if someone is not careful.

Use the F22 option to display the entire name.

If someone does something like
DCL VAR(&IFSNAME) TYPE(*CHAR) STG(256)
and then puts a name in there and creates a file based on that variable you may have a couple hundred trailing blanks.

Rob,

That's what I needed.
EDTF *
These stragglers were on the root.
Have no idea how they got crated.
All have no name and they are all empty STMF.

Example below.

< 4K CLEAWIEA 11/18/14 21:29 08/15/16
09:25 CCSID = 37
< 4K CHAJPINO 11/20/14 09:38 08/15/16
09:24 CCSID = 37

If you do
EDTF '/somedirectory'
on the directory itself you will see:
File name
Size
Owner
Change date
Used date
CCSID (or symbolic link)

Displaying IFS attributes, owner, create date, last used date

Is there a simple way to see the below attributes for an IFS object, all
on one screen.
I'm working on IFS cleanup, would simple and ease the cleanup effort.

WRKLNK only shows object link and type.
Viewing through the IFS mapped drive does give more options, if you
customize the display.
Owner appears as some strange numbers though - S-1-5-32-544.

Owner
Creation date/time . .
Last access date/time
Data change date/time

Thank You
