Richard, true NetServer is problematic in many areas, and SAMBA is better in
those areas.

There is a big BUT with SAMBA, there are security issues, one of which is
Kerberos authentication among some others.

I like SAMBA a lot, (and we run it at Agile) but before that road gets
traveled there needs to be a clear understanding of the pitfalls vs. the
advantages. Most of my customers opted to stay with NetServer because of
comparison.
