Hi Arco

I've not been able to put shortcuts on the Taskbar - I believe they have to be executable files.

Here is a shortcut target for one of the sessions -

C:\Users\hambevm\Documents\IBM\iAccessClient\Emulator\dp2A-1800D.hod

And to run a multiple-session batch -

C:\Users\hambevm\Documents\IBM\iAccessClient\Emulator\batch01.bchx

You need first to go into the main ACS app - maybe run as Admin the first time - and got to Tools-->File Association... - then check off the extensions you want associated with ACS - the above shortcuts should work.

It is not possible to drag sessions from Session Manager to the desktop and make shortcuts that way - I'd mentioned it several versions ago to one of the developers, have not submitted a PMR for it - that was possible in IBM i Access.

I did it by going to the directory where the session files reside, right-click-dragging to desktop and making a shortcut there. The location of the HOD file is displayed at the bottom of the Session Manager window when you select a session.

Hi,

I always used to have shortcuts to my iAccess emulator sessions on my quick
launch taskbar in Windows. From the former iAccess session manager window,
I could just rightclick an emulator session and drag and drop a shortcut on
my windows quick launch taskbar. (Windows 7 Prof x64)

Now that we move to ACS i fail to do the same thing for my ACS emulator
sessions.
There seems no way to drag and drop a session from the Session Manager.

When I go to the file location of my .hod files and try to drag an drop
these to the quick launch I get no luck either, it won't let me do this.
When I create a shortcut to my .hod file or even to the
acslaunch_win-64.exe application, and try to drop that on the taskbar
it won't.
I know I can start the session manager with a key shortcut crtl-shift-alt-b
but I need a visible shortcut.

I guess I must be doing something wrong, but can't find out.
Anybody got better results with similar functionality?

Thanks,
-Arco
