The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

It appears that HMC V7 does not support power 8. If I upgrade the HMC to V8, it will not support my Power 5. I will be retiring the P5 in a couple of months. This P8 is to replace the P5 in a remote site. Then I will be replacing the P5 in the local site. But for now I need an HMC that will support a P5, P7, and P8.
Any suggestions?
