Hello all,

Quick and easy question.....when setting up the use of the DLTEXPSPLF
command to remove expired spool files, I am under the impression that I can
simply perform a CHGPRTF command on the current printer file object, adding
the EXPDATE parameter of *DAYS and whatever value I want for the number of
days in the DAYS parameter. I'm understanding that I do NOT have to
recompile the printer file (and then, of course, the associated program).
Now, having said that, obviously I'd want to make a note in the printer
file source that when it's compiled again it would need to be compiled with
the new parms, but I CAN activate it immediately by changing the current
object, correct?

As always, all info is appreciated!

Bill
