at that yesterday as our production machine doesn't have either official
or iSeriesPython installed and wanted to see if I could install official

Python is now being delivered and packaged for IBM i. It is available
through both options 2 and 5 of 5733-OPS (Open Source for IBM i). Option
2 contains the Python 3.4 runtime, which installs to the directory
/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS/Python3.4 while Option 5 contains the Python
2.7 runtime, installed in /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS/Python2.7.
