Questions...
- Is it a bad idea to set QPRFADJ to '0'? My reason is that I don't want the *INTERACT pool to have much because I'd rather it be dedicated (always) to *BASE (where my open source/ssh is running).

There will absolutely be situations where switching off the performance adjuster is preferable:
1. When you are short of resources in the partition
2. For large Java applications you may end up with a panic garbage collection if the memory pool used can't accommodate the heapsize required

But the world is not black or white as:
- Performance adjuster will only try to adjust size and activity levels on *shared memory pools*, if you create a private pool it will not be impacted.
