I've experienced most of these.

It was great fun with that non grounded outlet. "Hey, want to learn how
to hook up a terminal and stuff?" And watch them shock themselves. A
regular hoot! They made us call the electrician.

Someone here ran the twinax over large shop floor fans that went through
the walls near the top. Lost connection when they turned them on in the
morning and when they turned them off at night.

Trying repeater, after repeater...

Limit of 6 devices on a line. Ok, understood. But there was also a limit
of 11 connections, splices, etc. This includes those things to allow you
to connect two pieces of twinax together.
