I was just doing some reading. The Lan Console which comes with the
deprecated IBM i Access for Windows uses the weak SSL V3 ciphers, unlike
the Lan Console which comes with IBM i Access Client Solutions.
I'd migrate to the newer (if I wasn't already a HMC shop). You get better
security, and watch IBM drop SSL V3 in some PTF or something.
