Which ASP is it you are trying to get rid of ?

You don't really say where you are trying to get to so it is hard to be
more specific.

I have always seen that, even for an empty ASP.

Am I correct that ASP can only be deleted through OpsNav, no green
screen command.

Not with a command, but with a DST option.
