A lot later than I thought.

Two token ring adapters come to mind:

PCI cards, February 2007 (updated April/May 2007, April 2008)
IBM plans that the POWER5/POWER5+ based System i models 520, 525, 550,
570, 595 will be the last to support the following older PCI cards. Users
may wish to start moving now to newer technology PCI cards to ease future
system technology adoption. These older adapters/controllers include:

I can't remember if the 2744 was a special token ring card that was mainly
there to support token ring from the FSIOP/IPCS genre of "pc on a card"

I couldn't find anything quite this clear about the 2724.
