Have done this many times and they work great. Not at all sure what's incorrect with your system to cause it to ignore them. They do in fact show up in the ASP as active drives? Do you have all your files flagged for disk units with numbers below 255 perhaps?

I tried and the system doesn't seem to use them. In fact a *CAPACITY ASP balance didn't even spread any data over the drives (???)
