An effective idiom of an old comp. sci. vernacular that I have failed successfully to abandon, having been learned so long ago; my trying to discard the idiom from my usage, only because society has become so dreadfully keen on reacting harshly to their having taken offense to something, and that as an expression, unfortunately has two words that, by themselves, are so-called /loaded/ words, such that offense being taken is a most likely outcome. Therefore, a suggested edit:

CHANGE/FD&H/complacent/

compromised.
