There are scalable monospaced (which IBM labels as "uniformly spaced". I've
not tried them all, but have used several (like FGID=416)
R $PRT09 FONT(416)
CHRSIZ(1 1)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
1'Font 416 Courier'
SPACEA(3)

STFON
Look at table 36 in this doc - for the Type of Font = U and Point = S
(scalable)
...when explaining this to users and managers, have to remember if comparing
to something like a Word doc or Excel - it is the application program doing
right side alignment, not the OS print spooler.

Subject: AFP Question: columns of numbers
Is there a way, when printing in AFP, to get columns of numbers to align
properly and automatically quad themselves to the right, without falling
back on a monospaced font?
Or is there a scaleable monospaced font that looks right with Helvetica text
(e.g., Bitstream's "Swiss Monospaced" or Monotype's "Andale Mono,"
or the ubiquitous "Lucida Console"), and is included with 5761 *BASE and
Option 1?
