I have a FONTALL procedure for X0's(AFP raster) and another one for
XZ's(AFP outline) , that prints a single page x'00' to 'FF' grid and a
backside of ABCD... for every font in a library that I'll send to anyone
that wants them.

But if your want more flexibility and have PSF on your i , generate AFPDS
using unicode TrueType or OpenType fonts. I have somewhere north of a 1000
fonts, but they're not in families, so Helvetica has a normal, bold,
italic, and bold italic with a separate file for each. This is one of the
least known abilities on the i. Obviously you can then pick a few font
styles, that can be used in printing reports and/or HTML. Verify that you
have all the varieties that you want an copy them into your i at
\\aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd\qibm\UserData\OS400\Fonts\TTFonts (aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is
your i ip address or name)Then call them internal font name, not file
name. You can usually see the internal font name when you sample the file
on your desktop system.

One solution that, in the end, won me over is to put that development
effort into writing the reports as HTML files and using .css files.
Lots and lots of flexibility in design and in delivery.

Does anyone know how to find out what fonts are on the system and what
they look like when printed? We are trying to figure out how to make our
reports more appealing visually by using different sized fonts and as well
as non-fixed space fonts. Is this possible?
