Are you talking something like Microsoft SQL Server running on intel type
hardware? If so, I think there are products out there like Mimix or
iTera. However, I think a lot of the more robust SQL Server shops are
doing things that are just starting to catch on in the IBM i world.
Namely, using SAN's that replicate between each other remotely.
If this is where you're going this thread should probably be bumped off
this list. However, I can see where some shops that do both can help
translate the lingo to you.
