The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

In addition, I'm a pack rat and this same chapter has been
around with the same words since the April 2010 V7R1 (TR0)
version. However, I could've sworn earlier versions of the
pub contained information about serving storage to AIX. Just
don't have time to dig through all the PDFs to find it.
Ha! Found it in the February 2010 version, chapter 14 section
14.7.2.1. Much of this section (14.7.2) is EXACTLY same as the
section 6.5.3 in
http://www.ibm.com/systems/resources/systems_power_software_
i_perfmgmt_pcrm_nov2012.pdf
The tests are documented as
_ All measurements were completed on a POWER5 570+ 4-Way (2.2
_ GHz). Each system is configured as an LPAR, and each virtual
_ SCSI test was performed between two partitions on the same
_ system with one CPU for each partition. IBM i operating system
_ 5.4 was used on the virtual SCSI server and AIX 5.3 was used
_ on the client partitions.
