Cow magnets won't be enough. You need a magnet that's not steady so an A/C magnet is the best with a very very strong field.

Fire is easy and thorough.

Shredding/cutting is very very good.

Microwave won't do anything unless you get the media hot enough to melt, the waves themselves do not affect the tape, same with diskettes.
