A friend had an N1. George told me that his night operator would bring his
cat in to keep him company. One night the cat, which liked warm places to
snooze, settled down on the N1's ledge. When it ran out of paper and
started to open, the cat panicked. George said they had one heck of a time
explaining to the IBM CE the next day what the yellow "stuff" on the tape
drive was. .-)
